Children can be amazing sales people. I have two children, and can tell you... when they really want something bad enough - they will get it. How?

Asking with persistence. Although young children asking the same question over and over again can get annoying, they will try to overcome a parents objections to their pleas. So, you pick, and you choose your battles. Some you win - some you loose. Sound familiar?

As a sales person - the “Art” is, skillfully identifying your customers needs, and caring enough to willfully solve a potential problem for them, and getting paid through out. The ability to ask often comes from gathering all of the important information - before making a proposal. GEtting to know the customer well enables a good salesperson to ask for the business often... no matter what your selling.
